In February and March, severe weather and seasonal illnesses can make it difficult for the Red Cross to maintain a sufficient blood supply. Your donation can give hope and strength to patients in need. Cancer patients use nearly one quarter of the blood supply - more than patients fighting any other disease. When you donate blood, you can extend a patient’s time by a day, a week or even years. You can also help by encouraging friends and family who have never donated blood to give and help sustain the blood supply. Sign-up sheets will be available in The Commons and The Well on Sundays, you can call the church office 843-662-3218 or register online at redcrossblood.org. Don’t forget to complete your Rapid Pass to decrease your wait time up to 15 minutes. Be a part of the solution!
