At Central, fellowship is at the heart of who we are. From women’s circles and veteran gatherings to group outings and midweek meals, our fellowship groups offer meaningful ways to connect, grow, and serve together. No matter your age or stage of life, there’s a place for you in our community.

We occasionally ask that you register for events when we need to plan accordingly. This will be communicated in advance so you have ample time to register!
United Methodist Women
United Methodist Women have a long history of gathering in small groups to grow in faith and engage in ministry and mission. God has called us to serve alongside women, children, and youth—those often most vulnerable among us, “the least of these.”
Our mission focus is primarily on improving the lives of women and children, but we also place a high priority on caring for our church family and local community. We believe that mission starts in our own backyard. Alongside the many individual acts of service offered by our members, our budgeted giving is directed toward local and state missions supported by United Methodist Women.
Central’s UMW has five active circles that meet monthly for nine months each year—three in the morning and two in the afternoon. For full membership details, including meeting times and locations, please contact the church office or a circle leader.
Happy Travelers
The Happy Travelers are a community of adults who enjoy exploring the beauty, history, and culture of South Carolina. Each month, the group embarks on day trips to various destinations across the state. Whether visiting museums, gardens, or festivals, the focus is always on fun and fellowship. All are welcome to join, and transportation is provided from the church campus. It’s a wonderful way to stay connected with fellow members, meet new friends, and share in joyful adventure together!
Veterans Group
Our Veterans Fellowship Group meets every other month on the third Thursday at 8:00 a.m. for a time of education and fellowship. Open to all veterans, this gathering begins with a hearty breakfast followed by an engaging and informative program designed to honor their service and support their continued journey. Whether you’re a visitor, newly connected to the church, or a long-time member, this group offers a welcoming space to share stories and stay informed on topics relevant to veterans and their families.
Wednesday Night Dinners & Programs
Join us on Wednesday evenings for a time of food, fellowship, and faith! After enjoying a delicious church-wide meal, stay for a variety of engaging programs designed to nourish both heart and mind. Fellowship opportunities include Bible studies, guest speakers, and entertaining programs that offer something for everyone—whether you're looking to grow spiritually, connect with others, or simply enjoy a meaningful midweek break. All are welcome!
