Nurseries

Nurseries are open on Sundays from 8:45 a.m. until 12:30 p.m. and Wednesdays from 5:30 p.m. until 7:30 p.m.

Whether you are a new parent, a new member or returning to our nurseries, we are excited about having you and your little one!  Central views its nursery system as a primary and necessary first step in your child's life.  We see this as an opportunity to plant a seed of spiritual learning in a safe, loving and caring environment.  Your child will become familiar with the values of home as well as his church. By means of prayer, song, Bible stories and crafts, our teachers will aid in establishing this very first pillar of spiritual growth.

All paid Nursery Staff have undergone a criminal background check and have been certified in Child and Infant CPR as well as First Aid.

Several times during the choir season (which runs September through Palm Sunday), our Children’s Choirs participate as worship leaders in both our traditional services and The Well.

Wednesday Night Activities

Children's activities on Wednesday nights include playtime, praise and worship, Bible Blast, guest speakers, and service opportunities.

Little Hands, Big Hearts

Little Hands Big Hearts is a missions-oriented program for our preschool children (ages two through five) and their parents. We meet once a month for games, snacks, and a special service project for the Florence community.

Jr. UMYF (United Methodist Youth Fellowship)

All 5th graders are invited to be a part of Jr. UMYF. We meet several times during the school year for fellowship and mission activities. Our past activities have included helping with Santahatchie, participating in Rebuilding Florence, and enjoying fellowship together while bowling or playing GaGa Ball!

Recreation

Central has many teams participating in a church league for children and youth. The teams range from 8 & under to 17 & under, and include teams for boys and girls. These teams encourage children and youth to compete as Christians with good sportsmanship, stiff competition, advanced skills, and lots of fellowship!
