Virtual Live@Central: “Front Porch Gospel Show”

Virtual Live@Central: “Front Porch Gospel Show”

Wednesday, October 7, 6:00 p.m.

Central is delighted to offer, all the way from Dallas, Texas, a “Front Porch Gospel Show” dedicated to CUMC and presented by our own Floramay Holliday Racz and her husband, Gabor Racz!  Floramay is the daughter of Dr. Dewey Ervin and Florie Ervin.  Floramay grew up in Central, and she and Gabor were married here in 2004.  In addition, their daughters, Flora McLeod and Adelaid Holliday, were baptized here at Central.

Floramay moved to Texas in 1998 to pursue her career in music.  She has since released 4 albums of original music and is currently writing songs for a new album.  Since the COVID shutdowns in March, Floramay and Gabor have been playing their “Front Porch Thursday” shows live on Facebook each week.  This will be their 32nd consecutive week, albeit a Wednesday instead of a Thursday show. Floramay and Gabor will be presenting an hour-long set containing both original and traditional gospel songs. With Floramay on guitar, and Gabor on harmonica and harmonies, they offer a musical variety of original music and cover tunes, bringing joy to fans watching from around the world.

Floramay’s music can be found on various music platforms, including iTunes, Spotify, and YouTube under the name Floramay Holliday.  This very special Virtual Live@Central is surely one you don’t want to miss!
