UMCOR Hurricane Melissa Relief

Dear Friends, 

The United Methodist Committee on Relief (UMCOR) is at work in Jamaica and other locations in the Caribbean in the wake of Hurricane Mellisa.  Our denomination has partnered with the Methodist Church in the Caribbean and the Americas, as well as local organizations on the ground in those places, to provide aid to communities in need, with special focus on Jamaica’s six hardest-hit parishes. 

You can donate through UMCOR by clicking the link below.  UMCOR’s operational costs are funded by the denomination, so when you give through UMCOR, 100% of your donation goes to the area you specify.  When you click on the “Donate Now” link, select “IDR – Hurricane Melissa” when asked to choose your preferred gift designation. 

In addition to our donations, let us offer our prayers for those affected by the hurricane, those who lost loved ones and homes, and for those bringing aid in the name of Jesus Christ.
