Please join us Wednesday evening, June 26th from 5:30 p.m. -6:30 p.m. for our 16th annual Spirit of Central. Twelve of our members will be presented with “Quilts of Valor!” There will be a decorated bike/trike/wagon parade for the younger children followed by water activities on the playground and a visit from the Kona Ice Truck! Rebecca Thompson and Dr. Don Grice will provide patriotic music as a tribute to our nation and veterans. Everyone will have an opportunity to write letters to our servicemen who are stationed around the world. The program and activities will begin at 6pm. From 5:30-6pm, we will have a delicious Southern dinner including BBQ chicken (chicken tenders for the children), potato salad (chips), corn on the cob, fresh green beans, watermelon, & apple pie and ice cream. Supper will be the usual price of $6 per adult and $3 for children 12 and under. Everyone is welcome! Come enjoy an evening of fun and fellowship for all ages.
