Human Trafficking Awareness Program
Glenda Skipper: One Child at a Time
Wednesday, February 9 • Spears Fellowship Hall • 6:15 PM - 7:00 PM

Glenda Skipper is the Founder and CEO of One Child at a Time, an organization located in the Pee Dee Region whose mission is to prevent human trafficking through education, rescue trafficked individuals through intervention, and restore human dignity through affirmation. Glenda began to study human trafficking in 2016 and founded One Child at a Time after impactful trips to India and Cambodia.

In 2018, Glenda started speaking in schools, churches, and other civic organizations on the dangers of human trafficking, online predators, and online grooming. Glenda also does workshops with children who are at risk for human trafficking. In these workshops, she teaches students how to identify a trafficker or a victim and how to be safe online. She believes that reaching children before the traffickers do is key to keeping them safe and gives them a sense of empowerment that they did not have before.

If you are a parent, grandparent, aunt or uncle, or just want to learn more about human trafficking and how you can help, you won’t want to miss this presentation!
