Advent Workshop

The season of Advent, which comes from the Latin word adventus meaning “coming” or “visit,” begins Sunday, December 1. During Advent we prepare for and anticipate the coming of Christ. On Sunday, November 25 at 10:00 a.m., people of all ages are invited to enjoy crafts, fellowship, and refreshments as we begin observing and celebrating the season with an Advent Workshop in Spears Fellowship Hall. Crafts will include making Advent wreaths (1 per family), banners, Advent Prayer Beads, pomanders and pine cone bird feeders. Come and bring a friend! Note: Children’s Sunday School classes for 3K-6th grade will not meet. All students are encouraged to attend the Advent Workshop with their families.
