Taste of Central 2020

Thursday, February 6 • 6:30 p.m. - 8:00 p.m.

Join us for this year’s Taste of Central as some of our best cooks will be dishing up their favorite recipes such as pumpkin soup, marinated mushrooms and banana pudding.  Local restaurants Downtown Southern Funk, Red Lobster, Top Hat Special-Teas, Holt Bros. BBQ, South of Pearl, Osbornes, the Venus, and Schoolhouse BBQ will be here to showcase some of their specialties, and the chefs from the Carolinian and the Florence Presbyterian Community (our very own George Hicks) will round out the tasty offerings. Flowers by Starks will make the Davis Christian Life Center beautiful with their gorgeous flower creations.

Over 200 silent auction items will be on display beginning at 6:00 in the Spears Fellowship Hall and The Commons and bidding on those items will begin at 6:30 p.m.

Tickets are available in advance through the church office, in the Commons on Sunday morning and at Wednesday night dinner (February 5) for $15. They will be available at the door on the day of the event for $20.  (We cannot accept cash in the church office.)    

This year’s Taste is going to be the best yet!
