The season of Advent, which comes from the Latin word adventus meaning “coming” or “visit,” begins Sunday, December 2! During Advent, we prepare for, and anticipate, the coming of Christ. On Sunday, November 25, people of all ages are invited to enjoy crafts, fellowship, and refreshments as we begin observing and celebrating the season with an Advent Workshop. Crafts will include banners, paper prayer chains, pomanders, candles, and Advent Wreaths. If you have a wreath form from last year, please bring it with you. We will provide enough wreath forms and candles for 25 families. Come and bring a friend!
