Theo of Golden shares the story of a mysterious older man named Theo who arrives in the fictional Southern town of Golden, buys portraits from a coffeehouse, and returns them to the subjects, asking only to hear their stories. The book explores themes of kindness, mercy, and human connection through these interactions, resonating with readers for its heartwarming and spiritual focus on seeing and being seen. Come and join Ellen and Tom on Tuesdays, July 14 and 21 in the evenings. Participants will have a much better experience by reading the book, but all are welcome. So that all can participate, the class will be capped at 30 persons.”
