So let each one give as he purposes in his heart, for God loves a cheerful giver.
— 2 Corinthians 9:7

Our three-week Stewardship series in our worship services will lift up the five minimum expectations we have for our members: prayers, presence, gifts, service, and witness.

This year’s Stewardship Brunch for Division and Route Leaders will be held on Sunday, October 28, at 10 a.m. in Spears Fellowship Hall.

Common Stewardship Questions:

What is the Pass-It-On Stewardship Campaign and how does it work?

The Pass-It-On Stewardship Campaign is a way for Central members to be active in planning the stewardship of their time, talents, and gifts for the coming year. Each family that participates in the campaign receives a Stewardship packet that includes a pledge card and Every Member in Ministry forms for each family member.

The Pass-It-On campaign is exactly what is sounds like — passing it on! Participating families are organized into routes with no more than 8 families in each route. Those families are located within walking distance of each other. The route leader, which is chosen by our Stewardship Committee, begins by receiving a large envelope with packets for each of the families in their route. The route leader removes their Stewardship packet, completes the pledge card and EMIM forms, returns it back to the packet which they can then seal for privacy. The packet is then placed back into the large envelope and the route leader walks the envelope over to another family listed on the front of the large envelope. When the large envelope reaches your home, you do the same. Once each family in that route has completed their Stewardship packets and they are all sealed and placed back in the large envelope, the route leader will return the large envelope to the church office. This is a wonderful way for you to meet others who are a part of the Central family around you!

What if I live outside of the Florence area or in a rural area where there are not many neighbors?

You can still be a part of Stewardship! We will be happy to mail you your family’s Stewardship packet with a labeled return envelope included for your convenience.

I am not sure where I can use my gifts and talents within the church, but I want to volunteer. How do I do that?

Rev. Meg Bryce Jiunnies would love to give you some guidance on where you can use your spiritual gifts and talents within the Central family. You can email her by visiting her bio page, or call the church office to set up a time to visit with her.

I am usually involved in the Stewardship Campaign, but I recently moved and have a new address. How do I continue receiving my Stewardship packet?

Please be sure to call the church office and ask to speak to Sandy Conner. She can change your address in our records so we can be sure to add you to a route for the Pass-It-On campaign, or to the mail list, whichever you prefer.

I have never been a part of the Stewardship Campaign, but would like to be. How do I get involved?

Call the church office and ask to speak to Rev. Meg Bryce Jiunnies. She will be more than happy to include you in the Stewardship Campaign.
