Area of Ministry
As Director of Children’s Ministries, I’m responsible for assuring that children are considered and included in the life of the congregation. I work closely with clergy and program staff to vision, plan, and advocate for children, particularly in the areas of faith development, safety and discipleship.
Education
I graduated from Chapin High School and received my AA degree from Spartanburg Methodist College and my BA degree from Columbia College. I received my Montessori Certification in 2010.
Previous Lines of Work
I have worked in fundraising and Donor Relations at Columbia College, The University of South Carolina and Francis Marion University. I have been teaching Primary Montessori at McLaurin Elementary since 2010.
