In the coming days you'll receive stewardship materials via mail or your neighbor. Even before you receive them, we encourage you to consider what you anticipate being able to contribute to Central in 2018 in terms of time, talent, and financial resources. You'll be asked to estimate what you can give next year.
As you review your financial situation and how you allocate your time, please think in terms of what has lasting value and how your contributions to a church like Central can contribute to good happening in our congregation, community, and beyond.
I won't rehearse all the "Did you knows" I shared yesterday or the ways increasing our family's investments have increased our enjoyment (you can listen to or read the sermon here), but I will tell you that taking a moment to consider just a portion of Central's ministries is a joyful experience.
It is very gratifying to reflect on all the good God empowers and your contributions enable through this church. Lives are being improved by you and what you're supporting.
Take some time to reflect on the good you see happening through your church and on our Stewardship theme verse: Honor the Lord with your substance and with the first fruits of all your produce (Proverbs 3:9). Doing so will help you be ready to make your plans for being part of the ministry in 2018.
