Debra A. Walters
Debra comes to Central from Francis Marion University where she was the Administrative Associate to the Dean of the School of Business and a House Manager with the FMU Performing Arts Center. She holds a Bachelor of Science History degree and a Master’s of Education Instructional Accommodation degree, both from Francis Marion University.
While still a student, Debra was employed with the Francis Marion Trail Commission where she was tasked with researching and authoring a compilation of stories relating to the life of General Francis Marion and his contributions to the American Revolutionary War.
The many leadership roles Debra has held at her home church include Director of the Code Red Emergency Response Team, Pastoral Council President, and Capital Campaign/Project Planning Committee Member. She also serves as a volunteer lecturer and guest speaker for Sharing Hope SC, South Carolina’s Organ and Tissue Recovery Service (formerly known as LifePoint). Debra lives in Florence and is the proud mother of four children, ranging in age from 12 to 26.
