 A Columbarium at Central?
There is interest in adding a columbarium (a memorial garden where cremains are located) to Central’s property. A committee, led by Eileen Blackwell, has researched what is possible and the costs and has a preliminary design. Robert Hayter of Columbarium Planners will be at Central Monday, May 12th at 6 p.m. in Spears Hall to discuss the plan and answer any questions you may have about a columbarium on our campus. A light supper will be served, so please let us know if you will be coming by calling the church office (662-3218) before May 8.

Rev. Janice Frederick-Watts Reception
Our District Superintendent, Rev. Janice Frederick-Watts, is finishing her sixth year as the Florence District Superintendent. The District Committee on Superintendency is sponsoring a reception for her at Central on May 18 beginning at 3:30 PM with a worship service in the sanctuary. A reception will follow in Spears Fellowship Hall. All are welcome to come and wish her well in her new appointment.
 A Celebration of Discipleship
The Disciple banquet will be held on Thursday, May 29th for class graduates and spouses in the Davis Christian Life Center from 6:00 - 7:30 PM. A nursery will be provided. We will have a Service of Celebration with award certificates and pins. Discple participants will be recognized at both services on Sunday, June 1st.  Vacation Bible School 2008
