Director of Children's Choirs - Sharon Tanner - Sharon became the Director of Central's Elementary and Junior Choirs in the fall of 2005. A native of Fort Mill, SC, Sharon graduated from Furman University with a Bachelor of Music degree and earned a Masters in Elementary Education from Francis Marion University. A resident of Florence since 1982, she has taught in South Carolina public schools for 28 years, the last 21 of those years serving as music teacher at Royall Elementary in Florence. Sharon has been a member of the Masterworks Choir and has also been very active in community theater.
