The Church Visitor - Elayne Bishop - Elayne has been of member of Central UMC for over 50 years, and began her work as church visitor in August 1990. Her background in the communications field includes Peer Counselor, "Women Helping Women", from Thomas More College, Fort Mitchell, KY. Elayne completed training in "Well Spring" for alignment through music in July 1989. She attended Susquehanna University. She has many experiences as a site manager for the Senior Citizens Nutrition Program while working with Florence County Council on Aging, 1976; the Florence County Mental Health Association as Executive Secretary from 1968 until 1975; ministerial aid for Dr. Iverson Graham of the United Methodist Conference from 1962-1965. Her training with the Hospice Program was completed in 1993. Her work as church visitor includes coordinating visitation for hospitalized and homebound members and serves as staff liaison to the Member Care Team.
