The Outreach and Advocacy Committee of Central United Methodist Church is sponsoring the 8th annual Costa Rica Mission Trip. All ages are welcome to attend. Children younger than 14 years of age must be accompanied by a parent. Central works with missionary Wil Bailey and the Costa Rica Mission Project (CRMP) organization.

Departure:
Saturday, July 15, 2017
Meet at CUMC to ride the CUMC bus to the airport in Charleston

Arrival:
San Jose, Costa Rica
Will ride the CRMP bus to San Isidro

Return:
Friday, July 21, 2017
WIll return to the airport in Charleston to ride the CUMC bus back to Florence
 

Trip Cost

If you turn in your deposit before February 15, the cost is:
$1,400 for Adults and Non-Central Youth
$800 for CUMC High School Youth
$100 non-refundable deposit is required of youth or adult participants in order to secure a trip spot.

Trip cost includes airfare, meals on site, housing, transportation, construction materials, local labor, and insurance.

Scholarships are available.
Contact Rev. Derrick Cattenhead (dcattenhead@centralmethodist.net) to receive a scholarship application. Scholarship applications must be submitted by February 1, 2017.

ABSOLUTE deadline to register is April 15, 2017, but space is limited so go ahead and register TODAY!

6:00 am - Up & at'em
7:00 am - Breakfast
8:00 am - Work site
12:00 pm - Lunch break
1:30 pm - Return to work
5:00 pm - Return to church
6:00 pm - Dinner
7:00 pm - Worship with local congregations & free time
9:00 pm - Be back at church
10:00 pm - Fall into bed
