Rebuilding Together 2008

Rebuilding Together is a national initiative that individual cities and communities participate in on the last Saturday of April. The purpose of "Rebuilding Together" is to improve the lives of people by improving the conditions in which they live. This year Central worked on three different homes with approximately 100 volunteers. The next "Rebuilding Together" project will be the last Saturday of April 2009. Christmas in April Florence, Inc. is one of 255 affiliates of the national organization Rebuilding Together with Christmas in April.  Rebuilding Together is the largest volunteer home rehabilitation company in the world and one of the largest home rehabilitation companies (profit or nonprofit) in the country.

About 600 volunteers each year contribute their time to help a neighbor in our community.
