Under the direction of Choirmaster/Organist, William B. Mills, the Youth Choir leads worship during the school year for the 9:00 am worship service.  This choir, made up of voices from the 7-12 grades, rehearses each Sunday night in the Choir Room from 5:00-6:15 PM. The choir, whose name is The Wesley Singers, sings on average once a month. Instrumentalists are also encouraged to be a part of this group as your gifts will be used in the worship service. There are no auditions required.  Each year, choir members attend the Montreat Music Conference in Black Mountain, NC. The retreat, located near Asheville, is offered in early June and lasts one week. Rehearsals begin after Labor Day.  Contact Mr. Mills for more information (bmills@centralmethodist.net).

Masterworks Choir

The Masterworks Choir is a regional choir of adult mixed voices, based in Florence. Directed by William B. Mills, Central acts as a sponsor for this choir by providing rehearsal and performance facilities. The choir is an eleemosynary organization with their own financial base because no tickets are sold and admission is free. Solicitations are requested by mail once a year. Rehearsals are September through June on Monday evenings from 7:30-9:30pm. AUDITION IS REQUIRED. There are two to three concerts per year, with some special programs and out-of-town performances. There is a singer fee for each concert. Concert dress is provided by the choir.
